Despite Nintendo Switch 2 sales dropping by 37% it is still 6 million ahead of original Switch
· My Nintendo NewsSome fans were a little disheartened to learn earlier this week that Nintendo Switch 2 sales had dropped by 37%, which isn’t a small percentage by any means. However, thanks to data gathered by VGC the console is still performing well and is 6 million ahead of the Nintendo Switch when launched aligned. It is also ahead of the PlayStation 5 when launched aligned, but that console was admittedly severely supply constrained for a long time post-launch. But still, it’s great to see the Nintendo Switch 2 continue to be a hit with consumers.
