Sonic Team head says he wants every Sonic game playable on modern hardware

The head of Sonic Team, Takashi Iizuka, has recently taken part in an extensive interview to celebrate the iconic franchise’s 35th anniversary. One thing that fans of the spiky blue hedgehog have wanted is the ability to play older Sonic games on modern hardware as a lot of the games are locked behind their original platforms. Mr. Iizuka says that he wants every Sonic the Hedgehog game to work on modern hardware. How long it will take for this to happen remains to be seen, but it’s certainly a step in the right direction.
