Bloober Team has announced a new a new third-person survival horror game, called Cronos: The New Dawn. Cronos: The New Dawn is coming to PC in 2025, and below you can find its debut cinematic trailer.

Cronos: The New Dawn will be set in a grim world where Eastern European brutalism meets retro-futurist tech. The game will let you experience a gripping story that straddles the line between the past and the future.

Players will assume the role of a Traveler who will be acting as an agent for the enigmatic Collective. Your task will be simple. To scour the wastelands of the future in search of specific time rifts that will transport you back to 1980s-era Poland.

Players will have to locate key people from the past who perished in the ensuing apocalypse. Using their all-powerful Harvester, they can extract their Essences and have them accompany them into the future.

The concept sounds pretty interesting. And, since the team used UE5 for Silent Hill 2 Remake, we can assume that this new game will be also powered by it. I just hope the team will do something about the optimization issues of SH2 Remake. I also hope that Cronos will not suffer from traversal stutters. Heh, who am I kidding? Of course and it will have.

Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
