Resident Evil 4 Remake Got an Amazing Tactical First-Person Mod
by John Papadopoulos · DSOGamingModder ‘ErwinGunsmith’ has released an amazing new mod for Resident Evil 4 Remake. This mod introduces a new tactical first-person mode, allowing you to play RE4 from start to finish with it. This is a really cool way to re-experience it. So, if you are a fan of it, you should definitely check it out.
Going into more details, the mod adds a tactical first-person mode with iron sights for every weapon. It also includes custom aiming stances and new animations. You can adjust the camera position and field of view to fit your liking. To avoid visual issues, the mod automatically hides the character’s head, hat, and accessories in first-person mode.
As said, there are iron sights for pretty much all weapons. Not only that, but you can customize everything by enabling “Advanced Customization Options”. This menu will let you adjust Iron Sight Position, Scope Offsets, and Visual Recoil. As such, you can get the ultimate first-person experience.
You can go ahead and download this mod from this link. At the end of the article, you can also find a showcase video. This video will give you a pretty good idea of what you can expect from it. So, be sure to watch it.
For those wondering, this first-person mod is more advanced than the one we shared in January 2024. This new mod provides more options and a more polished first-person experience. So, make sure to use this. As for our VR fans, there is a VR First-Person Mod you can download from here.
Speaking of first-person mods, I also suggest taking a look at the following ones for some other games. Both Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint and Ghost Recon Wildlands now have cool body-cam first-person mods. Then we have these FPS mods for Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. The classic Max Payne 2 also got a first-person mod. And yes, you can also play Hogwarts Legacy, Elden Ring, Dark Souls 3, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and The Witcher 3 in first-person. For those wondering, there are similar mods for both Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil 3 Remake. And if you’re playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on PC, you can also use this first-person mod. Finally, there is still no word on when the FPS mod for The Last of Us Part I will come out.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
