Reese Witherspoon, Ben Stiller, Paul Feig, & More React To Quentin Tarantino Calling Paul Dano ‘The Weakest F**king Actor’ In Hollywood!

Quentin Tarantino fired shots at Paul Dano… and now Hollywood’s finest are rallying behind the actor!

Earlier this month, the Django Unchained director appeared on the Bret Easton Ellis Podcast and attacked Paul’s acting abilities HARDCORE! While talking about 2007’s There Will Be Blood, in which the actor stars alongside Daniel Day-Lewis, Quentin said it’s one of the best movies of the 21st century, but would be even better if not for Paul:

“[The film] would stand a better chance to be in number one or number two if it didn’t have a big giant flaw in it. And the flaw is Paul Dano. Obviously, it’s supposed to be a two-hander, and it’s also so drastically obvious that it’s not a two-hander … He is weak sauce, man. He’s a weak sister. [Paul] is such a weak, weak, uninteresting guy. The weakest f**king actor in [the Screen Actors Guild].”

Ouch! That’s SUPER harsh! And rare to see such a blatant attack from one artist against another in 2025! And some BIG players are not happy about it!

Since Quentin’s comments, multiple celebrities have taken to social media to stand up for Paul. Reese Witherspoon wrote on Threads:

“Paul Dano is an incredibly gifted , versatile actor. More importantly, he is a gentleman.”

Paul Feig wrote:

“Call me old fashioned but I don’t believe artists should criticize other artists publicly. And for the record, Paul Dano is an amazing actor.”

Seriously!

Simu Liu added:

“idk i think paul dano is an incredible actor”

Josh Gad wrote:

“Not sure who needs to hear this, but Paul Dano is one of the best actors of our time. Full stop.”

On X (Twitter), Ben Stiller defended Paul:

“Paul Dano is f**king brilliant”

John Cusack added:

“Paul Dano rocks .  Great Actor .”

Matt Reeves, who directed Paul in The Batman, wrote:

“Paul Dano is an incredible actor, and an incredible person.”

We love to see so many talented Hollywood figures coming out of the woodwork to defend Paul!
