Robert Lewandowski agrees switch to MLS side Chicago Fire

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported on Sunday that all details of the deal have been finalised, with the veteran striker expected to sign his contract in the coming weeks before completing the move to the United States.
The transfer will bring an end to Lewandowski’s illustrious career in European football, where the 37-year-old established himself as one of the game’s most prolific goalscorers during spells with Barcelona and other top clubs.
His expected arrival at Chicago Fire continues the recent influx of established European stars into Major League Soccer.

Earlier this summer, Antoine Griezmann also moved to the United States after completing a transfer to Orlando City SC.
Chicago Fire are expected to officially announce Lewandowski’s signing once the remaining formalities, including the contract signing, have been completed.
