Breaking: Osun 2026: Adeleke wins massively in Ede North LGA
by The Eagle Online · The Eagle OnlineThe incumbent and candidate of Accord, Governor Ademola Adeleke, won massively in Ede North Local Government Area as the Independent National Electoral Commission continued the release of the results of Saturday’s governorship election in Osun State.
The result was announced in the early hours of Sunday by the INEC Returning Officer, Professor Joshua Olalekan Ogunlowo.
Ogunlowo, the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), said Adeleke scored 35,427 votes, while his closest rival and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Oyebamiji, polled 10,283 votes.
