Breaking: Osun 2026: Adeleke, Oyebamiji split two LGAs
by The Eagle Online · The Eagle OnlineThe incumbent and candidate of Accord, Governor Ademola Adeleke, and his closest rival and flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Oyebamiji, have split two local government areas among themselves in Saturday’s governorship election in Osun states.
The results from the two local government areas: Ejigbo and Ife South, were announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission in the early hours of Sunday.
The INEC Returning Officer and Vice Chancellor of Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Prof. Joshua Ogunwole announced the results.
