Kazzi Beach Greek to Open Fourth Sydney Venue at New Cronulla Luxury Development

A new Greek dining destination is coming to Cronulla, with Kazzi Beach Greek confirmed as one of the food and beverage venues at the new PALM development on Gerrale Street.

The Greek Island-inspired taverna will open its fourth Sydney location at the $135 million luxury development, joining existing restaurants in Manly, Balmoral and Bondi Beach.

The announcement comes as developer Sammut prepares to unveil PALM’s new display apartment this weekend, giving locals their first look inside the 23-apartment development at 67 Gerrale Street.

An on-site coffee cart will operate from 9am on Saturday, with visitors able to explore the display apartment and take in views across Cronulla Beach, Monro Park and Gunnamatta Bay.

Sammut director Julian Sammut said the development had been designed around luxury living and the Cronulla lifestyle.

“We take great pride and spare no expense in consistently redefining what luxury living in Cronulla means,” Sammut said.

“PALM embodies our uncompromising approach to design and quality, to deliver homes and lifestyles of complete luxury for the discerning buyer.”

He also welcomed the arrival of Kazzi Beach Greek.

“We’re thrilled Kazzi Beach Greek has chosen PALM for its new location, bringing its exciting menu to this revitalised strip and elevating the experience for PALM residents and locals alike,” he said.

Kazzi Beach Greek owner Peter Papas said the Cronulla venue would combine the restaurant’s Greek Island taverna style with its new beachside setting.

“PALM will be our fourth location in an iconic beachside setting, complementing our Manly, Balmoral and Bondi Beach restaurants,” Papas said.

“Our new location at Cronulla Beach provides the perfect combination of cosmopolitan and beachside taverna vibe, and of course superb Greek food for friends and family to enjoy together throughout the year.”

Kazzi will be joined by three additional food and beverage venues on PALM’s ground floor, with further details expected to be announced shortly.

The development is designed to create a new dining and lifestyle precinct along Gerrale Street, with restaurants, cafes, bakeries and specialty food businesses planned alongside the residential apartments.

PALM features 23 luxury apartments, with remaining residences currently priced from $2.65 million for two-bedroom apartments and $3.85 million for three-bedroom apartments.

Designed by PBD Architects and Mim Design, the apartments feature large floor plans, generous outdoor areas and views towards the ocean and surrounding parks.

The interiors draw inspiration from the form, texture and shadows of palm fronds, while the building’s exterior incorporates layered forms inspired by the contours of the local landscape.

Sammut, which was founded in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire, has previously developed projects including Sea, Salt, Breeze, Loft and Drift.
