Greek Striker Pavlidis Among Benfica’s All-Time Top Five Scorers

Greece international striker Vangelis Pavlidis reached another milestone after scoring in Benfica’s 4-0 win over Moreirense on Matchday 3 of the Primeira Liga.

The goal took Pavlidis’ Benfica tally to 72, moving him into fifth place among the Portuguese club’s all-time leading scorers.

Pavlidis overtook Isaías, who scored 71 goals for Benfica, and now sits just two goals behind fourth-placed Haris Seferovic, who has 74.

Former Olympiacos striker Oscar Cardozo remains Benfica’s all-time leading scorer with 172 goals.
