The championship is the 39th edition of the Trampoline and Tumbling World Championships, held in Nanjing from 4 to 8 November. Efraimoglou’s gold came in women’s tumbling, which is a separate discipline from individual trampoline and double mini-trampoline.

The official final ranking and World Gymnastics’ medal announcement both record the same winning score and podium. The announcement was posted on Saturday evening, Sydney time.

From European gold to the world title

Efraimoglou previously won the senior European women’s tumbling title in Guimarães, Portugal, on 7 April 2024. European Gymnastics’ report records her winning score of 26.200, tied with Portugal’s Mariana Cascalheira, with the title decided by the previous round’s results.

The Hellenic Gymnastics Federation also reported her European silver medal in April 2026. Her Nanjing victory now adds a world title to those continental achievements.

Her international athlete profile lists Asteras Pefkis as her club and Apostolos Stavrianidis as her coach. The federation spells her name Αλεξάνδρα Εφραίμογλου, while World Gymnastics uses Alexandra Efraimoglou.

Greek City Times previously covered Efraimoglou’s European silver-medal success in Sochi in 2021. Saturday’s victory marks a new chapter in her international career, with the Greek gymnast now standing at the top of the women’s tumbling world podium.
