Cosmote Telekom Stores Across Greece to Drop ‘Cosmote’ Name

ATHENS: Cosmote Telekom is dropping the “Cosmote” name from its retail stores across Greece as the company moves to the globally recognised Telekom brand.

The Hellenic Telecommunications Organization Group (OTE) said all 111 Cosmote Telekom stores in Greece will be updated as part of the transition, bringing their branding in line with Telekom’s international identity.

The redesigned stores will feature new signage, a distinctive magenta exterior and revamped interiors designed to highlight the technology and services offered by the telecommunications group.

Customers will find dedicated areas for mobile services, internet, fibre optic connections, television, smart home technology and other products.

The company will also introduce live demonstrations and interactive screens, allowing customers to explore its latest technologies and services in-store.

The revamped locations will offer additional services, including refurbished smartphones and device trade-in programmes.

Customers will also be able to drop off unwanted electrical and electronic equipment in dedicated recycling bins as part of the company’s environmental initiatives.

The retail transformation follows the broader shift from Cosmote Telekom to Telekom, bringing the Greek operation under a brand identity already recognised across international markets.

The company said the new stores will reflect the innovation, technological expertise and global presence of the Telekom Group.
