Need Wi-Fi facility at Vishwamanava Intl. Students’ Hostel

Sir,

Students coming to study at the University of Mysore from abroad mostly stay at the Vishwamanava International Students’ Hostel. However, the absence of Wi-Fi facilities in the   hostel causes them significant inconvenience.

Upon arriving at a new place, students are unable to immediately inform their families that they have arrived safely and they also do not know where to access the internet.

Only after submitting documents such as their passport and visas and obtaining a SIM card can they communicate with their families.

Therefore, if the Vishwamanava International Students’ Hostel were equipped with stable Wi-Fi, international students coming to Mysuru for education could stay in touch with their families without any difficulty. This would greatly help ensure their safety and mental well-being.
