Newcastle United want around €60m for transfer as player needs to focus

Fears growing over price

But they also offer information of their own, stating that there has been contact between the Bavarians and the player’s entourage. While they are interested, things are far from certain.

This is mainly because Woltemade is fully focused on Turin. He wants to start regularly and get on the scoresheet in Serie A. The striker will be fully fit after the international break and is seeking a turnaround.

Juve are confident they have a wildcard on their hands. But they also know signing him will be rather difficult.

This is largely because of Newcastle United’s asking price, which stands at around €60m or a little less. This is quite a complicated price for the Bianconeri, who are aware that Bayern will be in the race for a deal too.

That is why Juve are focused purely on the present and want to assess how things go in the next few months.

Player needs to block out the noise

There have been rumours swirling around the 24-year-old from across Europe. But Woltemade finds himself in a place where he could truly make a mark. There have been clear signs of his technical ability already, even if he is being used off the bench – for now.

He should be focused on impressing and finding a starting spot. Juve will play enough games, as they’re in the Europa League. Randal Kolo Muani is yet to score in Serie A and soon, the German could have his chance.

For now, that is what matters. If he does well, there is a chance his value escalates further or Newcastle United get to keep him.
