Christmas Eve has finally arrived, and the excitement is tangible as children (and let's be honest, adults too!) eagerly await the most enchanting night of the year.
We're all on tenterhooks waiting for Santa Claus and his trusty reindeer to embark on their annual epic journey, delivering presents to children across the globe.
At this moment, Santa is occupied with last-minute preparations at the North Pole, assisted by his devoted team of elves. He is set to fly across Irish skies later tonight.
If your little ones are brimming with anticipation for Santa's arrival, you can track his global journey this evening. As per tradition, NORAD will be monitoring Santa's movements as he travels the world on Christmas Eve.
This organisation, responsible for supervising US airspace, has been tracking Santa's flight since 1955.
Fancy joining the festive fun?
Simply visit their website here to track Santa.
And if you can't access NORAD today, don't fret!
Here in Ireland, RTE One will broadcast exclusive footage of Santa departing the North Pole on both the Six One and Nine O'Clock News bulletins. Just ensure the kids are tucked up in bed nice and early before he arrives.
Merry Christmas!
