Masked Singer's Davina McCall 'rethinks relationship with partner' after major operation

Masked Singer sensation Davina McCall is reportedly reassessing her relationship as she recovers from a recent operation to remove a brain tumour.

Speaking to New! magazine, an insider claimed that the 57 year old television presenter might change her mind about her future with her long-term partner, Michael Douglas, who has been her steadfast support throughout her health ordeal: "It has made her rethink many things and especially her relationship with Michael; he's been such a rock for her during this and now her focus is to spend more time with him and show how grateful she is to have him."

The source continued: "Davina has always said they won't get married but after this, she will be rethinking about their future. It's given her a lot to think about."

Despite the hints at a possible wedding, it was only last year when the ex-Big Brother host dismissed the idea of marriage, stating: "(Marriage is) not even on the table, it's just not. He's been (married before) so we both just feel like we are happy, let's not rock the boat. Let's just keep things on the down-low."

This new development in Davina and Michael's relationship comes two months after Davina informed her Instagram followers about her diagnosis with a benign colloid cyst, reports Bristol Live.

Following a successful procedure to remove the cyst later that month, she happily reported that she was 'on the other side'.

Davina McCall has noted a single change post-recovery, as she informed her followers: "My short-term memory is a bit remiss but that's something I can work on. I'm writing down everything I'm doing to keep myself feeling safe."

Famous for a variety of presenting roles over the years, Davina became a household name in the 2000s while hosting Big Brother during its prime. Beyond her time on the iconic reality TV series, the mother of three has been at the helm of Long Lost Family, which reunites separated relatives.
