Strictly Come Dancing star Toyah Willcox has revealed that a health scare over a decade ago led to her having the "best boobs ever". In a 2022 episode of How To Be 60 with Kaye Adams, Toyah discussed her 'Sunday Lunch' YouTube videos, where she and her husband Robert Fripp perform song covers.

The punk icon described the videos as "outrageous" and intended to "make people laugh". Kaye Adams praised Toyah's breasts as "breasts are magnificent" and the "eighth and ninth wonders of the world", prompting Toyah to share the story of her reconstructive surgery after a cancer scare.

Toyah said: "Well, they do have a time limit. Robert says to me quite often, 'How long can we keep this up for? ' And I say, 'Well, as long as my boobs hold out'. I think we're giving it another two years."

She continued: "I had a cancer scare about 10 years ago and I had reconstructive surgery and my surgeon was just absolutely brilliant."

"He gave me the best boobs ever and they're natural. I don't have implants or anything. So he just had to remove a lump and then he had to make my boobs even and he just did the best job in the world.", reports Birmingham Live.

Toyah expressed her belief that women should be "free to show their bodies" because they "go through remarkable things". She added that women endure "so much on physical and psychological levels" and should be "proud of who and what we are" regardless of "what age or what shape we are".

This comes after Toyah narrowly avoided elimination from Strictly Come Dancing last weekend, facing a dance-off with Tom Dean. In an interview on Strictly's 'It Takes Two with Fleur East', Toyah shared her emotions, saying she felt "heartbroken" when Fleur asked about her experience.

Toyah described the moment as "really frightening, upsetting, disappointing, heartbreaking, everything that's a negative was in that moment. It was shocking."

The Strictly Come Dancing results show airs tonight at 7.15pm on BBC One.
