Nicholas Lyndhurst, famed for portraying Rodney in the iconic series Only Fools and Horses, has disclosed his rather unique television set-up at his UK residence. Currently starring alongside Kelsey Grammer in the new series of Frasier, Nicholas opened up to Radio Times about his experiences working with Kelsey and his life in the US versus the UK.

During the interview, Nicholas was quizzed on his personal TV-watching habits and how he arranges his living space at home. He shared: "I actually haven't watched television for quite a long time. My living room faces the garden, not the TV, because that feels a bit 'worky'."

He added: "I watch the news and I watch some documentaries, but otherwise I don't turn on the TV very often. I don't stream, or binge...I know that's not the answer you want to hear but no! ".

Nicholas further discussed plans regarding an extended stay in America post-filming the current series of Frasier. He clarified his intentions by saying: "No, no, no. I'm just here for the duration of the show. I'll go home to the UK afterwards, but it's absolutely wonderful to be here for now."

Nicholas Lyndhurst expressed his delight, saying: "I'm in my mid-60s at this stage of my career, I wasn't expecting to be walking through the gates of Paramount Pictures every morning. I probably pinch myself every 20 minutes in this job, because working with Kelsey and working in this building is heartstoppingly wonderful."

Casting director Jeff Greenberg also heaped praise on Nicholas, telling the Metro: "The cast is just outstanding, and every one of them really stepped up and did a great job. I've never worked with [Nicholas] before and don't really know his work as well as everyone in the UK."

"He is a revelation, he is so fantastic. He is really outstanding in this part, he is truly hilarious."

"I really wasn't as familiar with him as I could have been, and he just bowled me over. He's just incredible."
