Turning Point USA Just Did An "Insane" Thing To Honor Charlie Kirk

This weekend, Charlie Kirk's Turning Point USA held its annual convention, dubbed "AmericaFest" — the first since Kirk was assassinated in September.

The conference featured memorabilia of Kirk everywhere, including his microphone, which was encased and presented on stage.

The convention also featured a "Prove Me Wrong" tent, which showcased a replica of the booth where Kirk was shot, along with framed pictures of him, allowing attendees to pose for photos in front of a giant ring light.

In a now-viral clip, a reporter gestured to the tent behind her as one attendee posed for a photo. "You can see from behind me this is a recreation of the tent where Charlie Kirk lost his life at Utah University in September. People are taking selfies with it...," the reporter explained.

The video garnered over 5.2 million views, and online users were quick to express their discomfort.

One person described the scene as "fucking dark."
