Anson Williams' Ex-Wife Asks 'Happy Days' Actor To 'Cough Up' Divorce Payments In New Court Filing

The Happy Days actor Anson Williams has landed himself in a legal row with his ex-wife, Jackie Williams. The latter has alleged that the actor has not paid her the dues he owes her in divorce payments. For the unversed, Jackie and Anson parted ways in 2020. 

Jackie Williams files petition against husband, Anson Williams, alleging missed payments

Anson Williams is being dragged to court by his ex-wife, Jackie Williams. She has alleged that the actor owes her a lot of money, and now she is getting the authorities involved. In court documents obtained by TMZ, Jackie alleged that her ex-husband has missed several payments and is now seeking the court's help to resolve the matter. According to reports, Jackie filed the plea on Friday, August 14, 2026. 

In the court filing, she has said she wants the Happy Days actor to pay up, claiming he owes her tens of thousands for nonpayment from their divorce. Jackie Williams has alleged that her ex-husband, Anson Williams, owes her over USD 15,000 in 6 different life insurance premiums, over USD 2,000 in DGA pension funds, and over USD 1,300 in AFTRA pension funds.

However, that is not all. According to the filing, Anson Williams must also pay USD 16,000 for misappropriation or unauthorized use of corporate funds, and USD 4,000 for unauthorized self-payments to his ex-wife. Bringing the total to more than USD 38,000. Nonetheless, that is not the only payment Jackie Williams is seeking in the filing. She has also asked that Anson reactivate their corporate AmEx and transfer over her half of the rewards benefits.

According to Jackie Williams, their 2023 divorce agreement clearly covered these items. However, Anson has been dragging his feet on some of the obligations he agreed to back then. She claims she's tried multiple times this year to reach out to Anson about the money he owes her. Jackie has further alleged that despite her attempts to reach out to Anson Williams, she hasn't gotten anywhere and now wants a judge's help. 

Jackie Williams has also claimed that she can't afford to keep paying lawyers in this litigation and believes her ex-husband knows that. She has alleged that Anson is aware of her financial situation and that's why he has been ghosting her, taking into consideration that she will quiet down if she can't afford legal aid. She's asking the court to order him to pay several of her legal fees in addition to the other payments she's seeking.

Anson Williams married Jackie Williams in 1988 after his divorce from actress Lorrie Mahaffey. The couple found solace in each other and worked towards building a happy home. They eventually welcomed three daughters, Olivia Jean, Gabriella Rose, and Stella Rayne. However, unfortunately, their marital bliss came to an end in 2020. 

According to reports, Anson Williams initially filed for divorce in September 2019. However, after a while dismissed the petition. Nonetheless, their reconciliation didn't last long as he refiled for divorce from Jackie Williams in 2020, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple's marriage ended after 30 years together. For the unversed, Anson is now married to Sharon Williams.
