Julia McGuire and Jackie Lankelis’s first meeting dates back to September 2022, when they matched on a dating app called Hinge. However, the duo could not manage to go on a date for almost two months. They continued having a conversation through text messages. While speaking to Brides magazine in January 2026, Julia said that she and Jackie considered it the best way to start their romance. Furthermore, McGuire revealed that on her first date with Lankelis, they were speaking to each other about connection instead of questions that are usually common on a date.

Although Julia McGuire is a popular face, Jackie Lankelis has kept his career and other details away from the limelight. The pair has been operating a joint Instagram handle, where they have frequently shared glimpses of their relationship. The latter proposed to Julia in July 2024 at a dock in New Jersey. Julia McGuire also told Brides magazine that her husband was well aware of where the proposal should happen after the duo visited the dock in February 2023.

Julia McGuire and Jackie Lankelis exchanged vows around a year after their engagement, in 2025. They initially invited their close friends and family members to a private ceremony in Pennsylvania. However, the duo later organised another party planned by Birch Event Design, and it witnessed the presence of almost 200 people. Julia says that they planned two different celebrations since they did not want their friends and everyone else to miss their wedding. Julia recalled her preparation for the wedding while speaking to Brides magazine and said:

“I tried on so many dresses and nothing was giving me the overwhelming feeling. The second I put this one on, I finally felt it and smiled ear to ear! I only took my mom dress shopping which helped me focus on my feeling and when I put this on, we both knew it.”

Back in October 2025, Julia McGuire announced with an Instagram video that she was expecting a child. Notably, Julia was spotted sharing the good news with her family members and friends in multiple clips. The clips even captured everyone's reactions when they heard the news. Julia confirmed in March 2026 that she had completed a 36-week scan and a final ultrasound. The latest announcement on May 1, 2026, featured glimpses of the newborn. This was followed by a video where Julia and Jackie were returning home, as the caption reads:

“Heading home!!!! First of many family ootds. P.s. we see ALL the messages and are so beyond grateful and emotional over all over the love and support. Be back soon!”
