Olivia Culpo met Nick Jonas when he co-hosted the Miss USA pageant. She was present at the pageant to crown her successor. Soon, they started getting spotted together at many events in 2013. Olivia and Nick’s relationship was confirmed when they were spotted kissing at the U.S. Open. Olivia also attended Nick’s 21st birthday and moved in with him in L.A.

After two years of dating each other, Olivia Culp and Nick Jonas called it quits in 2015. The reason behind Nick and Olivia’s split was their long-distance relationship. The couple’s busy schedules and constant travelling left no room for each other, making the relationship difficult to sustain. Prior to the breakup, Nick Jonas publicly admitted that he was "no pro" at making long-distance relationships work.

However, some reports also suggested that it was Nick who ended the relationship, as he was uncomfortable with Olivia’s jealousy of his female fans. Yes, it was speculated that Olivia was jealous of the female attention Nick Jonas received from his fans. On the other hand, Nick, too, felt the same when she was ogled at by strangers.

Once in an interview, Nick revealed that his popular track, Jealous, was ironically inspired by his own feelings during the relationship. Speaking to ET, Nick revealed that his breakup with Olivia was difficult as he had spent two years with her. But staying busy with his work helped him get out of that phase, as dealing with a public breakup was way more difficult.

After the breakup, both Olivia and Nick went through an array of emotions. But for Olivia, it felt like the end of the world as she contemplated marrying the Sucker singer. Years later, Olivia opened up about her split from Nick Jonas and shared how her life collapsed after the breakup. During the premiere of her reality series, The Culpo Sisters, the model stated that she moved to L.A. with Nick and left her world behind for him.

When the breakup happened, Olivia wasn’t an established name in the entertainment world and felt absolutely lost when she parted ways with Nick. Speaking about the same, she revealed:

“I moved to L.A. with him. I had no brand, no money and I was in love. That was great right, but when he broke up with me, I was kind of left with no sense of identity. My whole identity was in him, which is a very common story of a young person in love. I thought we were going to get married, I thought all the things, and I just remember night after night looking up at my ceiling in my apartment that I couldn't afford thinking to myself how am I going to pay my rent."

However, in 2019, she began dating San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, and they got married in June 2024.
