Cristiano Ronaldo got married to his long-term girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, in a secret wedding ceremony and made sure not to share details of his private ceremony publicly. The duo tied the knot on August 11, 2026, at an intimate civil ceremony in Portugal after staying together for 10 years.

Cristiano Ronaldo got married in his million-dollar mansion. The wedding was extremely private as only four witnesses were present, and their children were also part of it. Reports also stated that the football star's mother, Dolores, and his three siblings were absent from the celebration.

It is worth mentioning that a famous Portuguese television presenter, Cristina Ferreira, claimed that the footballer's family was absent from his big day. Talking about the same, she said that it might cause a lot of problems as the family wasn't part of it, and that they shouldn't have known. She claimed that it was just 30 seconds beforehand. She said:

"It will cause a lot of problems because the family wasn’t present. And they shouldn’t even have known. Or if they did know, it was 30 seconds beforehand." 

However, after the wedding, Cristiano's mother shared a heart emoticon on his official social media handle after he posted photos of their rings. It is worth mentioning that earlier reports of Cristiano's mother having trouble with her daughter-in-law emerged after she stopped following her on Instagram. But Dolores slammed the reports and stated:

"My dear followers, if I stop following someone I’ve got a direct connection with, it would be very strange and unintentional. As you know, I only use Instagram superficially, and I don’t really understand all this. If I stopped following my daughter-in-law and other people, it was by accident. I must have confused a button without meaning to. Stop making up stories because there’s no rift."

A few weeks ago, Georgina slammed people who have been bodyshaming her. She also talked about how her then-fiancé reacted to it. Georgina shared that she had a conversation with Cristiano about the way people are judging her body, which has made her worried, as they openly call her fat, as she is making a living off her image as an influencer and a model. However, the 41-year-old's response reminded her that she doesn't have to live off what people think about her. Sharing Cristiano's response, Georgina added:

"And he replied, ‘You don’t live off your image. You live off who you are. A perfect woman. Beautiful, with a great body, a mother, a good person, successful, and who lives life with love. What more could you want?’"

Georgina further pointed out that people body-shame her every summer, and every year her body becomes a point of talk as people pass judgment regarding how she looks. She added that happiness does not come by following body standards. She further added that she exercises because it makes her happy and it is something she loves.

Cristiano and Georgina made their first appearance as a newly married couple just days after getting married in Portugal. The 41-year-old footballer and his 32-year-old model wife were joined by their children as they watched Al-Nassr take on AI-Fateh at AI-Awwal Park in Riyadh. Georgina was dressed up in a glamorous, silky gold bomber jacket. On the other hand, Cristiano wore a black-hued ensemble.
