Temptation Island created headlines years ago when it premiered on Fox in 2001, specifically for the format that was possibly never followed on any other reality show. While it ended after three seasons in 2003, the show returned 16 years later on Netflix. The first two seasons have been well-received, and viewers are now waiting for the third one after Netflix confirmed its renewal in May 2026.

Given that there was only a one-year gap between the first two seasons, Season 3 can be expected to premiere in 2027. Keep reading to know more about the upcoming season of Temptation Island!

The second season of Temptation Island received a similar response to Season 1 when it premiered in 2025. Viewership was reported at almost 2.5 million in a week, after which Netflix confirmed a third season. While the streaming platform has not confirmed a release date, the casting process has already started. Mark L. Walberg, the host of the show, also shared an Instagram post about the casting for the upcoming season through his Instagram handle on May 8, 2026. Mark added a photo with a poster of the show and a website for those who want to participate. The poster reads on top:

“Looking for couples who want to prove their commitment to one another and singles who are looking for love.”

The website mentioned by Mark on his Instagram post redirects to an application. Notably, the participation will come under certain conditions, including that the contestant needs to be at least 21 years old. Furthermore, they must be available to join the production for at least four weeks between late May and June 2026, alongside traveling to multiple international locations.

However, three couples have separated after the end of the show. This included Shyanne and Jacke, Mikey and Sydney, and Sydney and Xzavier. The couples that are still together opened up on their experience, with Kaylee saying:

“We literally didn’t sleep after the final bonfire because we were so excited to tell each other everything we learned, experienced, and felt. We tackled any and all questions we had for each other and felt so at peace.”

Kaylee also revealed that she and Summit have been spending a lot of time with each other and are planning to move to California alongside adopting a dog. On the other hand, the situation was different for Cole and Scarlett, where the latter left the show alone. While speaking to Tudum, Scarlett said that she and Cole worked on their relationship and realised that it is worth everything that they have done for each other so far.

Separated couples from Temptation Island Season 2 have faced certain issues outside

Among the separated couples, most of them attempted to keep their relationships normal, which eventually did not work. Shyanne and Jack had almost resolved their issues after the conclusion of Temptation Island. They were staying together until a toxic environment started affecting the bond. The duo also tried to share a close friendship when the show ended. But the plans did not work. Shyanne said at the reunion that she would like to be with Jack if everything works in her favour. Shyanne further stated:

"I would want to try again, but right now just isn't the time. That's not to say that it couldn't happen later on down the road."
