Reconstruction Supplies Delivered to Falam in Chin State

Reconstruction materials and relief supplies have been transported to Falam by road as rehabilitation efforts continue in the region, according to reports.

Authorities said security forces had regained full control of the areas of Falam, Tedim, and Tonzang in Chin State after conducting counter-terrorism operations against armed groups. Rehabilitation and resettlement work is now being carried out in cooperation with local residents and officials.

Construction materials including cement, roofing sheets, and nails were airlifted from Mandalay, while household goods, kitchen items, and medical supplies for returning residents were flown from  ay Pyi Taw to Kalay on May 25.

The supplies were then transported by trucks from Kalay to Falam on May 26, where they arrived in the evening.

Officials reportedly received the aid and said the materials would be distributed to local residents. Additional shipments to other affected towns are also expected as the government continues support and reconstruction efforts based on regional needs.
