UEC announces winning Pyithu Hluttaw candidates in 40 of 102 Townships after Phase One of Election

The Union Election Commission (UEC) announced on January 2, the list of winning Pyithu Hluttaw representatives in 40 townships out of 102 townships where Phase One of the election was held.

According to the announcement, the results were released in line with Section 41(a) of the Pyithu Hluttaw Election Law by the relevant Region and State Sub-Commissions during the multi-party democratic general election, which has been conducted in phases since December 28, 2025. The announcement includes the names of elected representatives for Pyithu Hluttaw constituencies.

Based on the released results, the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) secured 38 seats across the 40 townships, while the Shan and Ethnic Democratic Party won one seat and the Mon Unity Party secured one seat.
