A fire broke out at a chemical storage site at the Science and Research Compound in Yankin Township, Yangon, on the evening of March 26, leaving three firefighters injured, according to official reports.

The incident occurred at around 8:00 pm. within the compound, where chemicals were stored. Due to the nature of the materials involved, firefighters had to use specialized methods to contain the blaze.
