The 2026 Tony Winners

by · VULTURE

The Tony Awards are tonight. While every letter in EGOT is important, the “T” stands out as uniquely important to the theater industry. Both the performances and the awards themselves are the best promotional tools the potential winners have in their arsenal. This year, with Broadway economics more difficult than ever, those awards are make-or-break for many of the potential winners. The most-nominated shows are new musicals Schmigadoon! and The Lost Boys, both of which scored 12 nods, though the Death of a Salesman, Oedipus, Ragtime, and Cats: The Jellicle Ball revivals are also major contenders.

The first awards are given out at the preshow, hosted by Laura Benanti and Tituss Burgess and airing on Pluto TV. The ceremony itself will hosted by pop star P!nk and begin at 8 p.m. on CBS. Follow along during the show for updates on the full list of winners.
