Sub-Collector Under Odisha Vigilance Lens, Raids On At 10 Places Including Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Monday conducted raids on properties linked to Kamakshyanagar sub-collector Narayan Chandra Nayak on allegation of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Simultaneous house searches are being carried teams led by 7 DSPs, 3 inspectors, 8 ASIs, and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar, at 10 places in Bhubaneswar (Khurda), Dhenkanal, Bhadrak, and Mayurbhanj.

Raids are underway at these following places:

1) Triple-storey building under construction over plot No. 709/2472, khata-361, Jharpada, Bhubaneswar.

2) Single-storey building over plot No. 709/2472, Jharpada, Bhubaneswar.

3) Triple-storey building at Kuansa, Bhadrak.

4) Double-storey building under construction at Gelpur, Bhadrak.

5) Office chamber of the sub-collector at Kamakshyanagar in Dhenkanal district.

6) Government quarter of Nayak at Kamakshyanagar, Dhenkanal.

7) Paternal house at Kapagaria village, Basudevpur, Bhadrak.

8) House of relative at Barunai, Bhadrak.

9) House of his associate at Joragadia, Bhandaripokhari, Bhadrak.

10) House of another associate at Dhalpur, Rairangpur, Mayurbhanj.
