Crawford is undefeated in 41 fights and is widely considered to be one of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world.
But the 37-year-old could not be lured into a big-money crossover fight with UFC star McGregor.

Crawford told Bernie the Boxer: “They offered me the fight and me and Conor got on the phone. I just told him, ‘I’m not getting in no octagon with you so you can be kicking me and elbowing me."
“He was just laughing and was like, ‘Man, I respect that. But we’d make a ton of money.’ Sometimes, it ain’t about the money. I can make money, but you ain’t about to be kicking me, dude."
McGregor knows the lucrativeness of crossover fights having reportedly made over $100 million when fighting Floyd Mayweather in 2017.
The Dubliner has not fought since 2021 when breaking his leg in a UFC loss to Dustin Poirier.
