IIM CAT Result 2025 Live Updates: The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode), which conducted the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 on November 30, today declared the results. Candidates who appeared for the management entrance test will be able to check them at the official website of CAT – iimcat.ac.in.

As many as 12 candidates have scored 100 percentiles. A total of 26 candidates have scored 99.99 percentiles and 99.98 percentiles, each.

Last year, CAT was held on November 24 and the provisional answer key was released on December 3. Candidates were also given time till December 5 to raise objections against the CAT answer key. The final answer key was released on December 17 and the result was declared on December 19.

This year, CAT provisional answer key was released on December 4. Candidates were given time between December 8 and 10 to raise objections against the answer key and the final answer key was released on December 17. During the IIM CAT answer key objection window, a total of 187 objections were received across all three sections covering all three shifts of the examination. The largest number of objections – 113 – were received in the first shift of QA. However, only one has been accepted from them. No question was dropped.

This year, CAT was conducted at 339 test centres across 170 cities in India. A total of 2.95 lakh candidates registered for CAT 2025 and around 2.58 lakh candidates actually appeared for the entrance exam. The overall attendance was approximately 86 per cent, IIM Kozhikode data says.

The CAT 2025 question paper had 68 questions in total, 24 of which were from the verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC) section and 22 each from data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR), and quantitative ability (QA) sections.

In order to ensure fairness and equity in the comparison of the performances of candidates across different test sessions, the scores of candidates will be subjected to a process of normalisation. The normalisation process will adjust for location and scale differences of score distributions across different forms. After normalisation across different forms, the scores will be further normalised across different sections. The scaled scores obtained by this process will be converted into percentiles for purposes of shortlisting, read a statement on the website.
