Salomey Awiti Baffoe granted GHC100,000 bail
by Miss Naa · MyNewsGh.comalomey Awiti Baffoe has been granted bail of GHC100,000 by the Adenta Circuit Court after she was arrested over allegations linking her to controversial Ghanaian TikToker, Ghana Jollof.
The court ordered her to provide two sureties, both of whom must be civil servants earning at least GHC3,000 per month.
Baffoe was represented in court by Manhyia South MP Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, who welcomed the decision to grant her bail.
She was arrested on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at her residence in Hansua, near Techiman in the Bono East Region.
Her arrest attracted attention after reports that three persons who identified themselves as National Security operatives went to her home at about 11:30 p.m. and took her away.
The 40-year-old mother of three was reportedly taken away without her family initially knowing where she had been taken.
Reports at the time also indicated that the Bono East Regional Police Command and regional National Security officials said they had no record of the operation.
