Coka Speaks after winning the Ashanti Regional Chairmanship election

Odeneho Kwaku Appiah has called for unity in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) after winning the chairmanship election.

In a social media post, he expressed gratitude to the party’s delegates for the trust reposed in him and urged all members of the party to come together to fight for power in 2028.

He used the opportunity to remind the party that the work starts now.

His social media post read “By the grace of God, I am now the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP. I am deeply grateful to the delegates, supporters, and everyone who believed in me. The work begins now—together, let us unite, rebuild, and prepare the NPP for victory in 2028”.

Coka beat Lawyer Henry Kokofu in the fiercely contested election on August 15, 2026.
