Two seriously injured in Auckland manufacturing facility

Two people have been seriously injured after a workplace accident at a manufacturing facility in East Auckland.

Manufacturer Buckley Systems says both of the the workers were receiving medical attention.

Three ambulances and two rapid response units were sent to the Mt Wellington facility on Thursday afternoon.

Buckley systems said police and Worksafe have both been notified and a thorough investigation is underway.

Hato Hone St John said it treated one patient in a serious condition and they were taken to Auckland Hospital.
