Elizabeth Holmes Doc 'You Can See Everything’ Divides Audiences with 'F**king Ridiculous' Charlie Kirk Scene
by Warner Todd Huston · BreitbartThe surprise hit documentary about Elizabeth Holmes, You Can See Everything, is dividing audiences with a scene focused on Charlie Kirk that portrays conservatives as the bad guys.
The film, which unexpectedly earned $17.5 million worldwide for its opening weekend, follows the saga of disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes and was made in secret by directors Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim over three years.
While most of the movie does not focus on politics, one scene is raising eyebrows for needlessly attacking TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk and conservatives.
The scene features Holmes’ fiancé, Billy Evans, defending Charlie Kirk’s conservative message. Naturally, the film depicts Evans as a villain, so his support of Kirk is naturally cast as the bad guy’s opinion in the film. It is a scene that has audiences wondering why it was even included in the film at all if not to serve the left’s desire to attack conservatives at all costs.
Charlie Kirk Show producer Blake Neff told NewsNation’s Katie Pavlich that director Fielder “chose their heroes, they chose their villains” and many think that Fielder is pandering to the far left with the segment of the film because Evens is “portrayed unsympathetically.”
Megyn Kelly also finds the attack on Charlie Kirk to be a needless addition to the film.
Kelly called the scene “fucking ridiculous,” and pointed out that “the person who was shitting all over Charlie is the person who’s supposed to be heroic in this film, and the person who was defending him emerges as the villain of the entire movie.”
She tipped the film, saying, “You cannot, as a right-leaning independent or a conservative in America, you cannot go anywhere without having your core beliefs or people you admire or love dumped on by a Hollywood machine that just doesn’t give two shits about you.”
Still, Kelly did say that other than that one scene, she very much enjoyed the film.
