The video was delivered on Monday — a few days after the audio’s release.
Directed by Creativeyute, the video begins with ace actor Nkem Owoh standing alone in a lush green field, surrounded by a swirl of butterflies as he softly whistles the song’s intro.
The camera then glides over to Teni, seated peacefully beneath a large tree in the same field, playfully interacting with the butterflies before delivering her signature powerful vocals.

Olamide adds his flair to the track, infusing it with his trademark street-smart Afro-rap and Yoruba rhythm.
Teni sings: “Sometimes I wanna run away/ Feeling lost mi o de mona ile/ So many people judge me/ But I don’t care/ Zion is very far away/ But when I am with you it is like holiday/ You are my safe space/ Oh! I hope you know/ I hope you know (I hope you know)/ I hope you know (I hope you know)/ Only you only you/ Makes me feel a special kind of way.”
Born Teniola Apata, Teni rose to prominence after the release of ‘Fargin’ in 2017. She followed it up with the releases of ‘Askamaya’ and ‘Case’. She has also earned numerous awards for her craft.
