RESCENE appointed Gyeongju City tourism ambassador, to release 'Pretty Girl' remake
by TelloWoo · allkpopK-pop girl group RESCENE (Woni, Liv, Minami, May, Zena) has been named the official tourism ambassador for Gyeongju City, South Korea. The appointment was announced on June 29.
This adds to the group's growing list of regional ambassador roles, following similar appointments for Geoje City and Suwon City. Gyeongju tapped RESCENE thanks to member Zena's roots in the historic city — the Gyeongju native previously won fans over with her charming local dialect on fellow member Woni's personal YouTube channel, earning the nickname "Silla Princess."
According to Gyeongju City, RESCENE's star power and global fandom will help spotlight the city's deep historical and cultural heritage, festivals, and tourist sites for K-pop fans and younger audiences.
The official appointment ceremony is set for a later date, after which RESCENE will jump into creating promotional content for Gyeongju City's tourism campaigns.
Meanwhile, RESCENE is gearing up for a comeback with their remake single "Pretty Girl," dropping July 8 at 6 PM KST.
