by spjw99 · allkpopSBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Agent Kim Reactivated' is experiencing a massive surge in popularity, breaking the 20% viewership mark in just four episodes.
According to Nielsen Korea, the fourth episode, which aired on July 4, recorded a nationwide rating of 21.6% and a peak real-time rating of 25.1%. This achievement marks a new personal best for the show and solidifies its status as a certified hit.
The drama, based on the popular webtoon 'Manager Kim', stars veteran actor So Ji Sub in his first return to an SBS drama in 13 years since 'Master's Sun'. 'Agent Kim Reactivated' tells the story of an ordinary father who transforms into a dangerous man to save his only daughter. At a press conference, So Ji Sub expressed his confidence, stating, "I debuted with SBS in '96 and my works here have had a good batting average, so I have high hopes this time too."

The series also features a strong supporting cast, including Choi Dae Hoon and Yoon Kyung Ho, who have been praised for bringing the original webtoon characters to life. The mix of revenge and comedy follows a successful formula previously seen in hits like 'Taxi Driver' and 'One Dollar Lawyer'.
With only six episodes remaining in the 10-part series, anticipation is high for how the story will conclude. A representative for 'Agent Kim Reactivated' shared a message of gratitude, saying, "We sincerely thank the viewers for their passionate support... The remaining episodes will feature even more immersive stories, so please look forward to it until the end."
