ADOR has taken further legal action in its ongoing 43 billion KRW(~29 million USD) damages lawsuit, securing a provisional seizure of assets linked to key parties.

According to legal sources, the Seoul Central District Court approved ADOR’s request on February 2 to freeze real estate owned by Min Hee Jin and the mother of Danielle, a former member of NewJeans. The total amount covered by the seizure stands at 7 billion KRW, with 5 billion KRW attributed to Min Hee Jin and 2 billion KRW to Danielle’s mother.

The move follows ADOR’s filing of a 43 billion KRW damages lawsuit in December 2025 against Danielle, her mother, and Min Hee Jin, citing alleged contractual violations and disruptions to group activities. Notably, the provisional seizure request targeted only Min Hee Jin and Danielle’s mother, excluding Danielle herself.

Properties affected include Min Hee Jin’s apartment in Seoul’s Yongsan District and a villa in Mapo District, both of which had previously been subject to separate legal claims. Danielle’s mother also saw her assets—located in Seoul’s Gwangjin District and Anyang—placed under restriction.

A provisional seizure is a legal measure designed to secure assets before a final court ruling, limiting the ability to sell or leverage the properties during the litigation process. This can significantly impact financial flexibility if the case is prolonged.

The development comes amid further uncertainty in the case, as ADOR’s entire legal team recently stepped down. With a new legal team yet to be appointed, questions are growing over whether the company will seek a delay in upcoming hearings scheduled for May 14 and July 2.

Meanwhile, representatives for Danielle and Min Hee Jin have urged the court to proceed as scheduled, emphasizing the need for a swift resolution. The evolving legal battle continues to draw attention as both sides prepare for the next phase of proceedings.
