CORTIS celebrates 100 days with official fandom name
by K-Soul · allkpopHYBE rookie group CORTIS celebrated a milestone 100 days since their debut by officially revealing their fandom name: COER.
CORTIS, who debuted on August 18, 2025, with the single “What You Want” from their first EP 'Color Outside the Lines' (released September 8), invited fans to participate in a naming contest last September.
Out of over 19,000 submissions, “COER” was selected, combining “COR” from “with CORTIS” and “-ER” meaning “people,” symbolizing fans who support the group from the very center of it all. The announcement was accompanied by the launch of the “COER Challenge,” marking the special occasion with fans.
Since their debut, CORTIS has made a strong impact on social media, rapidly growing on TikTok to surpass 4.8 million followers within just over a month of opening their account. Their rising popularity was also evident during their live performance at the halftime show of Korea’s national football team match against Ghana on November 18 at Seoul World Cup Stadium, where they appeared as advertising models for KT.
The group is set to close 2025 with a string of high-profile appearances, including the 2025 MAMA Awards in Hong Kong (November 28–29), the 10th Anniversary Asia Artist Awards in Taiwan (December 6), and the 2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon in Incheon (December 25), solidifying their position as one of 2025’s most prominent rookie acts.
