J.Y. Park will return to the Waterbomb Seoul 2026 stage for the second consecutive year.

On May 6 KST, Waterbomb’s official social media account announced his appearance with the message, “All-time legend, now impossible to miss! JYP is back,” adding, “At Waterbomb 2026, he returns to the stage.”

According to the official poster, J.Y. Park will perform on the TEAM GREEN stage on July 26.

Last year, the singer generated massive buzz after appearing at Waterbomb in a bold hot-pink sheer halter-neck outfit paired with vinyl pants. During the performance, he energized the crowd with hit songs including "Don’t Leave Me", "She Was Pretty", "Honey", "Who’s Your Mama?", and When We Disco".

Despite being the oldest performer in the lineup at the time, J.Y. Park impressed audiences with his intense energy and stage presence.

He later appeared on 'Radio Star' and shared behind-the-scenes stories about preparing for the event. “I was honestly surprised when I got the offer,” he said, adding that he first checked with his staff because he worried people might think it was “too much.”

J.Y. Park also revealed that he intentionally redesigned the outfit for the water-themed festival, explaining, “Vinyl alone felt too obvious, so I added hot pink. Since dancing gets difficult when clothes are soaked, I made it a halter-neck style.” He further shared that he lost 5 kilograms in two weeks to prepare for the performance.

This year’s Waterbomb Seoul festival will take place from July 24 to 26 at the outdoor global stage of KINTEX in Goyang.
