RESCENE's Won I candidly reveals their 'Pretty Girl' remake was not originally planned
by TelloWoo · allkpopRESCENE's Woni has shared a behind-the-scenes story about the group's upcoming comeback.
On July 7, a video titled 'An idol who is way too fearless' was uploaded to comedian Yoo Byung Jae's YouTube channel, featuring RESCENE members Woni and Minami.
During the show, when Yoo Byung Jae brought up the group's good news, Woni announced their comeback scheduled for July 8. "We are making a comeback by remaking KARA sunbaenim's 'Pretty Girl'," she said.
When asked for more details, Woni added, "We originally didn't have it in our plans. As Minami received a lot of love for her gyaru concept, it kind of led to more." This flustered Yoo Byung Jae, and Woni added with a laugh, "I'm flustered too. This is as far as my prepared comments go."
RESCENE has been drawing attention, largely due to Minami's popular gyaru concept and viral catchphrases like "Geoje yaho." The group's rising popularity has also led to all members being appointed as honorary ambassadors for their respective hometowns: Geoje, Gyeongju, Suwon, and Goyang.
RESCENE's remake single of KARA's 2008 hit, 'Pretty Girl', is set to be released on July 8 at 6 PM KST across various music platforms.
