LE SSERAFIM showcases ethereal new visuals ahead of comeback
by Alec06 · allkpopLE SSERAFIM heightened anticipation for its upcoming comeback by unveiling a second visual concept for the group’s second full-length album.
At midnight on May 13 KST, LE SSERAFIM released concept photos and films for the “YUSU LILY” version of its upcoming album ‘PUREFLOW pt.1’ through official social media channels.
Set against black-and-white visuals, the newly released content showed the members immersed in calm water, creating a mysterious and dreamlike atmosphere.
The concept uses gently flowing water as a symbolic medium to express LE SSERAFIM’s enduring vitality and resilience. Unlike the album’s first concept, “BIRCH SCAR,” which portrayed inner emptiness through bold monster-like visuals, the “YUSU LILY” version focuses on trust and emotional bonds as the members lean on one another.
The new concept also drew attention for reminding fans of the mermaid-inspired motif seen during the group’s debut album ‘FEARLESS.’
Through its upcoming second full-length album, scheduled for release on May 22, LE SSERAFIM plans to explore the idea that “understanding fear can make you stronger.”
Following the album release, the group will kick off a large-scale world tour beginning in Incheon on July 11, with a total of 32 concerts planned across 23 cities worldwide.
