DAY6’s Wonpil releases emotional ‘Piano’ MV

On May 4 KST, Wonpil unveiled the music video for “Piano,” a track from his first solo mini album 'Unpiltered,' through the official YouTube channel.
Previously, Wonpil made his solo comeback on March 30 with “Unpiltered,” marking his first solo release in approximately four years since his full-length album 'Pilmography' in 2022.
The “Piano” music video focuses on Wonpil’s vocals and expressive performance. The combination of lyrical piano melodies and his emotionally rich voice enhances immersion, while his detailed acting conveys a deep sense of longing.
“Piano” begins with a minimal instrumental arrangement and gradually builds into a fuller sound. Wonpil took part in writing and composing the track, capturing the emotions of longing after a breakup.
In addition to his music releases, Wonpil has been actively performing. From May 1 to 3, he held his solo concert “WONPIL SOLO CONCERT ‘Unpiltered’” at Jamsil Indoor Stadium, his first solo concert in over four years, where he showcased his live vocal abilities.
Notably, JYP Entertainment introduced a barrier-free system for the concert, including the use of the “Auracast” audio receiver system in collaboration with an organization supporting accessibility, enhancing the experience for hearing-impaired audiences.
Meanwhile, DAY6 continues its group activities following its 10th anniversary tour “The DECADE,” with upcoming performances scheduled in Macau, Busan, and Kobe.
