Jennie nets 17.4M USD in payouts from her own label
by hjang · allkpopJennie, a member ofBLACKPINK and a solo powerhouse, has reaffirmed her global market dominance following the establishment of her independent label. According to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system on May 10, 2026, her agency, OA Entertainment, paid the artist a total of approximately 17.4 million USD (23.8 billion KRW) in settlement fees over the past two years. This figure includes 10.4 million USD (14.3 billion KRW) paid in 2024 and approximately 6.9 million USD (9.5 billion KRW) paid last year, demonstrating the efficient financial structure she has built since becoming independent.
Since departing from YG Entertainment to form OA Entertainment, Jennie has successfully integrated her creative vision with a high-revenue business model. The agency's annual revenue rose by 26% to reach 23.8 billion KRW. While operating profits saw a temporary dip due to proactive investments in human infrastructure and business expansion, the company’s overall growth trajectory remains steep. Jennie currently holds a 100% stake in the agency, which is managed by her mother as the CEO.
This financial performance is deeply rooted in Jennie's status as a top-tier global icon. She is currently slated as a headliner for seven major international music festivals, commanding a massive presence across North America, Europe, and Asia. Notably, she was the sole K-pop artist selected for TIME's "100 Most Influential People of 2026." Industry insiders suggest that Jennie’s success serves as a landmark case of an artist achieving unprecedented independence and profitability by moving away from the traditional large-agency system to build their own aesthetic and brand.
