BTS has continued its global dominance as “SWIM” remained No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart.

According to the latest chart released by Billboard on May 19 for the week dated May 23, BTS’ title track "SWIM" from the group’s fifth full-length album ARIRANG held onto the top spot on the Global Excl. U.S. chart for a second consecutive week.

With the achievement, BTS has now claimed No. 1 on the chart six times this year, surpassing Taylor Swift’s previous record for the most chart-toppers.

“SWIM” also stayed at No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200 for a third consecutive week. Meanwhile, “ARIRANG” ranked No. 8 on the Billboard 200, extending its run in the Top 10 to eight straight weeks.

BTS is currently carrying out the North American leg of its BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’. The group recently made history as the first Korean act to headline a concert at Stanford Stadium.

The group will continue the tour in Las Vegas starting May 23 local time. In July, BTS is also set to appear as a co-headliner alongside Madonna and Shakira at the halftime show for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final, marking the first halftime show ever held during a FIFA World Cup final.
