NEXZ to appear on ‘Open Concert’ amid comeback promotions

JYP Entertainment rookie group NEXZ is set to appear on a major broadcast stage as part of their comeback promotions.

According to reports on April 28 KST, NEXZ will participate in the recording of KBS 1TV’s 'Open Concert' on the same day. The group, which returned with a new album on April 27, has chosen the program as one of its key promotional stages to reach a wider audience across generations.

Through their second single album 'Mmchk,' NEXZ has showcased upgraded musicality and performance skills. Often described as a “performance-driven group,” the members are expected to deliver both refreshing energy and powerful choreography on the show.

As 'Open Concert' is known for its broad and diverse viewership, the appearance is seen as a strategic move to expand NEXZ’s recognition beyond their core fanbase and connect with the general public.

Meanwhile, NEXZ is set to continue its global activities with showcase events in Taipei in May, Hong Kong in June, and Bangkok in July. The group will also embark on its first arena tour in Tokyo and Osaka, and is scheduled to perform at the Rock in Rio in September.
