by Demian09 · allkpopfromis_9 is preparing for a major return this summer with a new full-length album scheduled for release in July 2026.
Their agency, ASND, announced on May 12 that the group is currently working on a highly polished studio album. The company stated, “fromis_9 will make a comeback with a full-length album in July. Since it has been a long time since the group released a studio album, the members and production team are dedicating significant effort to ensure a high-quality record. Please look forward to new music filled with fromis_9’s unique energy and color.”
The upcoming project marks fromis_9’s first full-length album in nearly three years, following their 2023 studio album 'Unlock My World.' News of the comeback has already sparked enthusiastic reactions from flover, the group’s fandom, who have been eagerly awaiting another full album release.
Since transferring to ASND last year after departing HYBE, fromis_9 has maintained strong momentum in the K-pop scene. The group released their sixth mini album From Our 20's along with the digital single White Memories, continuing an active year of promotions and chart success.
The title track "LIKE YOU BETTER" from 'From Our 20’s' remained in the upper ranks of the Melon Top 100 chart for three consecutive weeks after release and earned the group a first-place trophy on Music Bank, reaffirming their growing popularity.
Later, “White Memories” climbed to No. 5 on the Melon Top 100, matching the group’s highest chart record to date. The song also secured wins on 'Music Bank' and 'Show! Music Core,' while topping the weekly Hot Stage ranking on 'Inkigayo.' These achievements further solidified fromis_9’s status as one of K-pop’s leading girl groups heading into the summer season.
