On May 18, the production team announced that Lee Yong Jin and actor Lee Ki Taek will become the newest cast members of the popular KBS variety show. The two are set to begin filming on May 22 alongside existing members Kim Jong Min, Moon Se Yoon, Lee Joon, and DinDin.
Known for his quick wit and versatile variety skills, Lee Yong Jin is expected to bring fresh energy and stronger chemistry to the show. Producers described him as an “all-around entertainer” capable of elevating the cast’s comedic teamwork and spontaneous banter.
His addition is drawing particular attention due to his previous connection with the franchise. During 2 Days & 1 Night Season 3, Lee Yong Jin appeared as a memorable “lucky intern,” impressing viewers with his clever gameplay, athletic ability, and unpredictable humor.
The production team had previously revealed Lee Ki Taek as a “rising rookie” member, while Lee Yong Jin was kept secret as the show’s hidden final addition. With the veteran entertainer now confirmed, expectations are high for the revamped six-member chemistry.
