Sean of Jinusean proudly shared how his second child is continuing his legacy of good deeds.
Sean is a member of the legendary hip-hop duo Jinusean, known for pioneering the Korean hip-hop scene in the late 1990s.

On September 22nd(KST), Sean appeared on JTBC's 'Newsroom' for an interview.

Sean, known for his fundraising through running, has been building homes for descendants of independence fighters.

During the interview, Sean shared his thoughts as the world's first ALS care hospital, a dream he's worked on for 14 years, nears completion: "ALS patients are usually given about 5 years, but CEO Park Seung Il has held on for 22 years. Thinking about how happy he will be when he sees the completed building makes me emotional."

When asked if he feels any pressure from being called a "donation angel" or a figure of "positive influence," Sean responded, "I'm grateful for the kind words, but I'm not living my life aiming for those titles. I'm just following my path and pursuing happiness in my own way."

In addition to his work for descendants of independence fighters and the ALS care hospital,

Sean shared another story: "I didn’t plan for it far ahead, but when I was young, I had a dream of making a lot of money to build a school." He continued, "I eventually forgot about it over time. However, earlier this year, my second child visited an international alternative school attended by Koryo-saram children and found out they needed a building. To my surprise, they decided to help by raising funds through running, just like me."

Sean then revealed a heartwarming moment: "Jennie's mom found out about this, and Jennie donated 100 million won(approximately 83,333 US dollars) in the name of her fan club. The dream I once only imagined is now being fulfilled by my second child," he said with a proud smile.

Sean also mentioned his dreams of releasing a 30th-anniversary album for Jinusean and concluded the interview by saying, "I hope people remember me as a happy person, like the Good Samaritan in the Bible."
